This Groundwater Power workshop is about understanding where that power comes from. And how we build more of it, together.

Come ready to explore:

• How power works, how it’s been concentrated, and how race became a tool to keep the majority of us from building it
• The history and policy decisions that created the conditions we're living in today
• How a groundwater analysis helps us stop treating symptoms and start changing systems

Open to organizers, community members, and anyone who’s been asking why and feels ready to ask what now.

I've already been through a racial equity training, is this workshop for me? 

Yes! This workshop is intended for people who’ve experienced racial equity work and are looking to put those ideas into practice.

I've already been through a power building workshop with a broad-based organization. Is this workshop for me?

Yes! This workshop is also for people who have been trained in organizing and power-building but could use a deeper grounding in equity and power dynamics

I haven't been through equity training or power-building training, is this for me?

Yes! This workshop is accessible for people who haven’t been through prior racial equity or organizing training and want an introduction to how to build power to improve their communities, grounded in anti-racist and structural power-building work.
